Running for a Greater Purpose: dermaFIT at the LAKSA Marathon

Fundraising for Youth Development & Athlete Support

dermaFIT was proud to take part in the LA Korean Sports Association (LAKSA) Marathon, a community event bringing runners together for a meaningful cause: supporting youth development and athletes.

Featuring both a Half Marathon and 11K, the event was a great opportunity to connect with the local running community, challenge ourselves, and celebrate movement together.

Running Together with the Community

From the starting line to the finish, the day was filled with incredible energy. Runners of different backgrounds and experience levels came together with a shared goal—not only to complete the race, but also to support the next generation of athletes.

Our dermaFIT team had a great time participating, and we were especially excited to have our model, Sean (Jinusean), join us for the run.

It was a chance for us to experience firsthand what our community experiences: the excitement before a race, the challenge of every mile, and, of course, the need for recovery afterward.

From Finish Line to Recovery

Crossing the finish line may be the end of the race, but recovery is where the next chapter begins.

After the run, we incorporated dermaFIT into our post-run recovery routine, giving our team the opportunity to experience the product after putting their bodies through a real endurance challenge.

dermaFIT is created for people who live active lives—from runners and athletes to anyone who wants to keep moving, training, and feeling their best.

For us, being part of the LAKSA Marathon wasn't simply about showing up at an event. It was about being part of the community we want dermaFIT to support.

Supporting the Next Generation

We were honored to participate in an event centered around fundraising for youth development and athlete support.

Sport has the power to build confidence, discipline, community, and lifelong healthy habits. Supporting opportunities for young people and athletes to continue pursuing their goals is a mission we are proud to stand behind.
